Too many batteries to choose from

I was just looking at batteries for the scoot after kind of looking here and seeing what some of you might recommend from a experience standpoint and beginning to think I`m over thinking this whole thing.
Mine for some reason Saturday started only putting out 8,5-9 volts after only about 6 months so I figured I would get a new one but jeez, there are so dang many. Whats a good rule of thumb for picking a good bike battery for the buck?

Buy a good brand name lead acid or agm if you are keeping the stock size. Yuasa always seems good.

I would check the charging system for over and under charging. Most batteries are guaranteed for 1 year take it back.

That too. I replaced the stock sized battery in my 74 with a 5ah agm from yuasa. Just made a foam insert for it to sit tight in the stock battery box. No estart on my bike. But also have an adjustable solid state regulator. It was charging a bit higher than I like, dialed it back to 14.2 at 3000rpm.

Charging system seems fine, just had it tested.
I didnt buy the battery, it was in the bike when I got it but was told
it was new battery and it was a friend so I believe him.
Anybody tried one of these and have anything good or bad to say about them?
I`m kind of leaning this way.
