Turn signal probs

I dumped the cancel unit, fitted a 2 prong electronic flasher unit to brown & br-w
indicators work as they should, but, the meter light goes off when the indicators are on ???

Hi Roy,
you mean the amber light in the console, eh?
It's wired to both signal feed wires, sees power from one feed, grounds out along the other feed and through the other bulb filament.
If your aftermarket signals have LEDs in them they won't flow enough current to work the signal bulb.

Ah ha, I don't have indicators at the moment, just tested with a single bulb, thereby hangs a tale. Cheers Fred.
