What are these wires for???

Ive been working on my 79 xs650 and getting some wiring ready for when i put it all back together, i purchased the TC bros wiring harness, and i have these 2 wires that come off my stator plug, and i marked them when i took it off the bike, but now i cant remember but if someone can tell me what they go to and what/where they wire into my new harness.. Thanks in advance!

Give us the colour of the wires................clean the grease/dirt off first.

Left ones Yellow, Right ones Green..

Yellow is coming from the alternator windings centre point. Normally used to energize the Safety Relay coil, but if not using the SR, just cap it off.

Green is from the alternator brushes. Its the left or outer brush. That wire needs to connect to the voltage regulator, as its the control voltage for the rotor.

Yes, the yellow and green go the same places on both ignitions.
