Any luck ? Does that tank have rust inside ?I'm at the wreckers. Will these 750 petcocks fit my standard 79f? I have dual petcocks. But I am concerned about the diameter between the bolts.

XS750 petcocks same as XS650 ?
What year 79? Cafetools needs that confirmed asap please?
Hang out there Cafetools salvage yards are fun !
I bet they will work. Mike's XS shows a manual petcock for 78-83 XS's w/ mounting holes being 46mm apart (center to center) and this also works on a '79 xs750. In his listing he shows a '78 XS650E, but not an F (But I am pretty sure that the '78 & '79 standards share the same tank). Depending on the cost, may be worth picking them up...I'm at the wreckers. Picked up a set of stickers I commissioned from a local shop for my '74 and applied them. It came to me with no factory paint at all so got a splash of green applied for interest and an acknowledgement that this model may have been in some markets, offered in "Vegas Green" in addition to root beer metallic. From my research about that green colour it seems it was not as vibrant as its name suggests.
YEARLY OR EVERY 2K? I’ve been changing mine every 1k. Have I been doing it too often? If not how are you getting away with that?Since I don't get a discount anymore, I don't use Bel Ray. I changed to Castrol M/C oil and it seems to work good.
I also change oil yearly or every 2k miles which ever comes 1st. Usually yearly comes 1st anymore, (unfortunately)
I change my oil every 800 to 1000 miles just like to keep the engine protected and clean inside and out
