Super ape hanger handlebar risers!!
What year is the wiring harness and or LH handlebar control? The green is DARK green, easily confused with black. Anyone that's been a in an XS headlight bucket a few times has mixed up a dark green and black. 'specially us old farts.I tried to connect the blinkers but I cannot find the green wire to connect the right side, was only able to connect the left side. Anyone has any idea how to track down for the left wire???
Alright- Polished, trued, new bearings, seals, spokes, tire. Balancing beads installed in the Old inner tube. Now I need to install the matching rear tire and balancing beads, and neck bearings.

Remember this rule of thumb.... if a bearing goes inside a tube, tap on the outer race. If it goes around a shaft, tap the inner race. In other words, tap where the interference is. Never tap where the force is transmitted through or across the balls or rollers.Okay, I was just reading in the thread about installing the tapered bearings in the steering stem and someone mentioned NOT to tap the outer race as it damages the bearings. That is the method I used to drive the new wheel bearings in the front wheel; I have a Large socket that matched the outer diameter of the wheel bearings, and I just set them in the hub and tapped alternating sides of the socket with a hammer until they were seated in the hub. I didn't even use any grease. Would this damage the wheel bearings? Would I be able to tell if it did? Is that advice specific for the tapered bearings?
