I'm in the shop and Badfinger is blasting My Baby Blue I got the sump put back together 7lbs torque on the bolts
And while pouring the oil into the bike from a 1 gallon jug and I see this
And I even put a rag down to catch any drips from adding the oil :laughing::laughing:

And I've never taken a sink trap off to clean it out and rinsed it under the tap.
In the same sink with no trap...

That's nothing I bet I can beat all of you combined!

Try changing the oil on a 12 cylinder Cat Genset. One where it takes something like two 55 gallon drums of oil to fill the sump! Then do it out in the field where the only way to get the oil into the sump is to pump it by hand. Then just as you finish the first barrel and climb out of the trailer the genset is in to switch the pump to the second barrel you see oil running on the ground! Not sure how many gallons came out before I got the drain valve shut off but it was a good amount. I was working by myself and the plant I was servicing the genset for had lots of oil so no one ever knew plus the trailer was on fresh fill of crushed stone so it soaked in pretty fast!
