I was looking into doing the Chrysler Reg/Rec combo, but, then decided to go the PMA route...so at that point I need a 3 phase reg/rec. I know I can get one from Hugh's for about 40-50 bucks or so...
I did some reading on the subject and saw where some people made their own. It's a bit more involved than going the Chrysler route...but it seems doable. Then I read about some of the more modern reg/rec's that use mosfets and run cooler and last a lot longer.
So I'm questioning what modern mosfet 3phase reg/rec's would work with our bikes? If any? Anybody have any idea or point me in some direction? I dig this shit...like learning this stuff. Any way I can find/figure out and explain why this is or isn't an option or if it's even relevant...thanks.
