Would a 79 front fender fit a 83special

Looking on line at a 79 front fender is that the same that's stock on a 83 special?

yup everything 77 up is the same except 82s are painted black

Well, there is a slight difference in the length or size of the fender between the Special and Standard models, but they do swap. The Standard fender is longer and gives more coverage, the Special fender is more abbreviated or cropped, obviously for that "chopper" or "custom" look.
