Is that one of those 4 valve per cylinder jobs?? I had one of those years ago and got cloaked doing 145 in Charleston SC got lucky there was an over pass with no ramp so I went up it and got away from the cops but that was also 35 plus years ago

Now those are machines I don't feel guilty about hacking on. Yamaha makes the ugliest of the 4 cylinder bikes from the 70s and 80s. Actually..don't mind some of the secas.

Ditto. I have a friend with an '82 1100 Maxim w/ the rect headlight, multi-piece handlebars, and accent covers on everything, ugh! I wouldn't give up an FJR1200 though!

Latest pix as of Jan 7. Added touring bars, XS750 shocks, ehaust in place. Still working on side covers, waiting on front wheel.
