XS Family - Interchangeable Parts?

Hey guys - are any of the parts from the Yamaha XS family interchangeable with the XS650? Example ... are the carbs off an XS400 the same as the ones on the XS650? Forks? I see a lot of options for parts but they aren't all XS650 parts and was wondering if partts from the other XS bikes will fit my 77' 650.

I think the only things that might fit from the XS400 are things like mirrors, handle bars controls. Things that bolt on around the edges.
Things like carbs, engines won't. Some wheels can be used.
On the larger bikes like the XS 750, 850, 1100,the same applies. Front wheels, bars, controls, complete front ends.
