got the rephase crank done to day,got the cases cleaned and trans in sorry no pic's to day the battery died on the camara
Can't wait to hear it. Did you bevel 1st gears like I read about in the forum? Are you running 5th overdrive? This assumes a later engine. We have much to talk about in Aug.

Success ! The rusty turd started and runs pretty good . After sitting for 20 plus years it was reborn this afternoon . Engine only had 3500 miles on it , but someone must have bent a valve kicking it over after sitting .After valve replacement I lapped other three.
I can now resume detailing engine and outfitting it for the long haul to Ohio. I put on rear rack and sissy bar today . Will have to restore old saddle bags . I might even put on an old fairing I have . It will be a true retro cruiser . Have to powder coat tank . Better put 72 tank back on 72 . I just sold it . Builds look great .
Mouse must have been living in headers . Nuts came out when it fired . Who knew ?

This will be my last personal entry for the 2014 Build Off. My bike has been done for a few weeks now and I've been enjoying like crazy. The bike is being taken on by a new owner and is shipping to Maryland next week. I will still be attending the build off and representing through two great friends Derek and Kelley. I want to wish good luck to everyone involved with this.

I hadn't put much thought into entering myself into this and just came back across this thread. Not sure if it's too late to "enter" but I made it a personal goal of mine to have my build ready in time to ride down to this.

I'm not the deciding factor on anything but i say the more the merrier. Is this the build that will be the traded frame? Man I wish I had the money right now I would have bought it and used the frame you were selling/trading. But I say jump in.
