Thanks! The 1969 XLCH is by far my favorite too. I just finished restoring it a few months ago. I bought it from the original owner last winter. It was 90% original, except for the paint, seat, and exhaust. I did a complete frame off rebuild, although i left almost everything except the tins and cylinders in their original paint/finish because it cleaned up so well, but I did use the original paint color code and found a set of NOS tank decals for the tank and fenders. I even reused all of the opriginal hardware and fasteners.

Its the fastest of my bikes too. Since it has the magneto ignition, there is no battery or any other elctrical components except for the head and tail lights so its very light (for an old bike). It also has the factory original big valve CH heads, aluminium wheels, and crossover exhaust.

She has just over 28,000 original miles and I still have a copy of the original title and all paperwork dating back to its original sale in 1970!

I'm thinking that my next project will be an early 70s xs650 restoration... my 79 xs650 just looks and feels too 'modern' for me. Then my 1979 xs650 will become my daily driver

my xs650 is nothing more than a motor and some small parts, but on the weekend I ride and race this.

Latest acquisition, DRZ400E :D The "E" model is the "off road" with more HP and 30lbs less weight then the the street version. Had to add lights, horn etc.... then State police had to inspect and issue a title. Big pain in the ass but very fun ridding a dirtbike on the street (wheelies :D) Wear your gear girls and boys, I've dumped this thing 3 times and last time had to go for x-rays on foot. I will now be buying proper gear  p.s. Those Husqvarna 510SMR's are great sounding bikes, my friend has one with a pipe and sounds killer!

My son's first sumo was a DRZ, it's the reason I bought my Husky. By the way, the 610's aren't so bad either!!

lovin it, your is clean. i think the srx is one of the best all around everyday bikes made lol. mines got a white bros header with a supertrap, jet kit and pods, and just cleaned up the lights with led's.

been thinkin about doin some other stuff but i dont know. im kinda happy with the way it is now.

The RC is gets my go-fast tendencies under control, its a 2003 has been my dream bike since Colin and Nicky were riding it back in the day. I've never really ridden any other Japanese bike that feels or sounds like it.

The xr-250 I picked up for $250 about 4 years ago. The picture was taken right after I got it home. Since then its had a full frame off resto with a newer xr front end with disc brake. I don't have any post rebuild pictures since its almost always covered in mud or half dis-assembled.

The CB450 is a 1970, has 10,000 original miles and is a slow resto work in progress. I swapped out the front end for a newer cb550 front end for internally sprung suspension. Trying to accomplish a sort of period accurate cafe look. Like what it would have looked like if someone in 1975 was going to cafe/track it. Its coming along very slowly...

The ttr-125 is my wifes. Its actually a hoot to ride, and if she could just figure out how to use the rear brake to go down steep hills she would stay on it quite a bit more :)
