What? How in the world are you getting temps that low? You’re still in Texas aren’t you?
And about that burger, no photos? You can make us envious without photos!
...By the way , when I was riding in Cave Creek yesterday, I was looking for a BBQ joint and couldn’t find one, so I stopped at my usual haunt Big Earls Greasy Eats. As I was leaving I looked across the street, set back a ways.
A BBQ joint! Doh!
The features of your new gadget should be working by now.
Planning on lunch lunch there tomorrow. His son is running it now.
That video prompts me to clarify a couple of things. In the first 5 seconds they show some poor fish being incinerated over direct flames, and then in the last 5 seconds they show a helpless steak being cremated over direct flames. This is not barbecue, no matter what News Corp Australia wants to call it. It is Grillecue. Throwing some hot dogs on the grill is grilling, and calling the grill a barby does not change anything. Real barbecue is done low and slow, as in low heat (always indirect!) and cooking it slow -- up to several hours for something like a brisket or beef ribs.warning -- don't try to bbq at home:

...Meet-ups with XS650 forum people are really fun - its great to put a face and voice to the name...
Vegan is a life-style choice. IMHO not a good one. Humans are omnivorous (check the teeth! ) A diet without meat (and all the other fatty stuff containing amino acids and protein, etc.) will starve your brain (great, if you're trying to protect yourself from a zombie apocalypse), and turn you into a grouchy, opinionated, miserable person.Hey! I need a cheeseburger! Quick! I'm turning into one of "those" people!...warning -- don't try to bbq at home:
