    For Sale - 78 XS650 in SC

Yes it has a Michigan title but I haven't paid that much attention to it. Could have sworn he said it was a 78. Guess I'll need to pull it out when I get home and correct my posting.

    For Sale - 78 XS650 in SC

Running 1978 XS650 came out of a basement in Michigan. Previous owner rode her to work for a couple of months and then she blew out the right side baffle. Now she's looking for someone to turn her into a real head turner. As projects go she's all there and in one piece just needs a little...

    Better late than never!

I love a resto mod. You'll get a ton of advise but it sounds like you have a solid plan. Make it yours.

Can not seem to bleed front brakes 1975 xs650

One last thing. After you've had it apart (pops right out with a shot of compressed air) push the piston all the way in. Minimize the amount of air you have to deal with.

    2013 xs650 build off bikes

A little progress always counts. Finally blasted enough flaking chrome off of the Shovelhead mag and put some color on it. Still have to take it apart again to turn the hub out to fit the 52mm bearing but I have to run power to the new lathe location. Hot tip: the new firearms coatings do...

    2013 xs650 build off bikes

Hugh, I've been meaning to give you a call. I'm not far from you in Greenville, SC. I'm trying to get to the point where I can pull my mock up motor and bring you the crank and cam. Need a rephase on the shelf for the next one. And on course I've got a list of stuff I need for this project.

    2013 xs650 build off bikes

That's looking good. Don't count me out yet. Actually got some work done on the frame this weekend and my chain and tensioner arrived from Monster so I can work on the rear wheel set up. I just need to take some pictures. Can't seem to decide on the front setup yet either. I've got an R6...

Giveaway: Pandemonium Brake Kit! (ends 11pm CST on December 17th, 2012)

Here she is. Just getting started. Almost everything is here. Still might have the motor rephased if I have time before spring. The brake kit would make her look just that much faster. If you have big brakes it must go fast right?

    Powder coating wheels...process?

Yes and the latest trick is to use the firearms coatings on the spoke tips. Holds up to a spoke wrench a lot better.

    Powder coating wheels...process?

I do a lot of wheels, all types. You can do them with the spokes in but it will last longer and look better if you take it apart. If not when you do have to make an adjustment to your spokes you will propably bust some of it loose since it's all coated in one all encapsalating shell. And if...
