I am really trying to get at if the other year side stands will bolt right up and effectively function, irrespective of the mufflers fitted.

So, the different year side stands will bolt on and work as intended, but only the 1974 side stands will work with the 1974 mufflers?

FWIW, this looks like a P&P girder, not a Durfee girder. Only saying that in case you just had to have a Durfee....but if any girder...
