    The Duc was inside the house. He moved down a bit in price, right now it was definitely reasonable. Especially considering the number of guys in CA lately trying to get rid of Specials with spray cans, torn seats, and whathaveyou for over $3000

    Couldn't give up on these twins. Picked up a nearly all stock '75 with low miles. Very proud of this find. Today the left spark plug wire shocked me in the damn leg, any easy remedy for this? Also, is a leak common from this spot in the third picture? Dripping a little more than I'd like...

    Considering buying an XS750

    Despite the bad rep of the early Yam triples, this bike is too pretty to dismiss. And the good aspects of the 750s (that comfortable 70 mph hum etc....) appeal to me. What would be a good price for a '77 2D in this condition? 19xxx miles. Anything important to know about the early points...

    Space between carb intake manifold gaskets and motor?

    Well, I just ordered some new carb boots w/ gaskets for BS34s, because the old ones were cracked and possibly leaking. When I went to replace them, the old one's came off with the gaskets attached like normal, but there were still these few millimeters of rubbery old gasket looking things stuck...

    Need to redo the paint job on the tank, the last clear coat layer ran like hell. Gonna have xs650 decals made up on the side covers with white lettering. I should be buying a vintage sportier seat later today that's been sitting in some guys shop. Anyway here's my '77.
