    Cafe build

I have a project that I have parts and money to complete. The thing I don't have is time. Any suggestions on builders in northeast Georgia, east Tennessee, western North or South Carolina? 1977 D model with a 79 Special for donor parts. Many other parts I picked up along the way.

My rephased Cafe Racer build is complete

I removed the tabs and welded a 1/2" piece of 3/8" steel pipe to each side of the frame so that I could set it up like the 750's came from the factory - Rubber dampers on the frame and the tank slides on to them.

    headlight mount

I was surfing last night and saw an adapter for mounting a sportster headlight eyebrow on an xs upper tree. Now I can't remember where. Anybody seen one somewhere? I thought of Lowbrow but was wrong.

    radian front end

I thought of using a xs650 front hub and a 2.75x16 rear rim so I could run the stock size Radian tire. I have access to a lathe to make spacers if needed.

    radian front end

I have a chance to pick up a Radian frame locally, cheap. I know the story on Radian swingarms, has anyone used a Radian front end on their XS650? With the built in fork brace, larger diameter and dual disks (that weigh much less than the ones on an XS) I was wondering if anybody had experience...

    MotoLanna parts

Has anybody bought anything from MotoLanna? They have some cool stuff but I'm nervous about sending money to Thailand and actually receiving the product.

Wanted - Rear mag wheel with drum brake

Looking for a Special rear wheel with drum brake instead of disk. Not sure which models had these, maybe Special II's from the '80s.

277 degree rephase experience good or bad

Inertia is reduced by having the pistons not moving up and down together. In theory, motion stops at top dead center and bottom dead center. Having the pistons offset means only one piston is at rest at those points. So, just as removing the fan belt from your car's AC makes move hp available to...
