I have a chance to pick up a Radian frame locally, cheap. I know the story on Radian swingarms, has anyone used a Radian front end on their XS650? With the built in fork brace, larger diameter and dual disks (that weigh much less than the ones on an XS) I was wondering if anybody had experience with this swap.

You will be using the radian wheel, if you like that..... I don't know anything about how the neck will fit up.

Spacers may not be the problem. Stem length may be shorter on the radian. Axle diameters may be different.
But I might try it. I tried an 82 Seca 650 Forks on my 75. Air forks, dual brakes. But had different axle size so had to run the Seca wheel. Any way I did like it much.
I now have a front end built from 79-82 parts on it now with a few mods and am very happy with it.

Yes, I feel the 35mm forks can be made to work very well, so can the stock brake. I'm very happy with mine.
