Need help with front forks...

I just added two inches to my front end with Frank's Forks on a 1978 XS650 SE. Questions: 1) How do I get the Allen bolt in the bottom of each fork to tighten? The cylinder and piston the Allen bolt screws into just keeps turning inside the lower fork. 2) My forks are now 2" over stock...

Has anyone tried building a belt drive XS650?

    Chain Tensioner

Looking for advice on a drive chain tensioner. The roller type looks like there might be, or could be some issues with the chain slipping off the roller. What do you folks consider to be the best? A sprocket type or roller type tensioner? Or does it matter? Thx... Charlie [/IMG]

    BikeMaster BMX 530 Drive Chain

Hi Everyone, I'm new to XS650.com, but used to be a member 650 Rider (if I remember the name right) a while back. I've built a couple of bikes that you can see in my profile photos. Anyway, I'm back and in need of help. I bought a basket case '78 XS650 built for a wide rear tire and I think...
