    Reading needle jets?

I'm fine tuning the vm36's on my 650. It runs fine and starts good but is a little rich at idle. I have two sets of carbs from 650s to scavenge parts from plus my jet box. Anyhow. The needle jet in the bike is a 0-6 and the spare set has Q-5. Are the 5's leaner? The needle on the bike is 6h9 and...

After I searched high and low(napa, uap, apc, carquest, etc) for the proper plug using the dorman #555-083 my local APC dealer cross referenced it to another local Carquest under the...

    best CV carbs

We have a 73 650 with the twin throttle cables. We put on a set of carbs (twin cable type also) They have a round venturi as opposed to the original style that had a hump on the floor of the carb. We thought they came of of a tx750 but now I'm not sure. In any event they worked fine with a 2-1...

    tx on ice

We took the 650 out for a little fun on Sunday. It worked o-k other than being too heavy and the bars being too low.
