    The funny thing is the timing of the whole thing; I got the bike drove it around and messed around with the timing for two weeks managing to totally screw it up until I had to take it to the shop where it sat for two weeks. They said it started right up but was still out of whack timing wise...

    The CB200 has points of course. And I like having two bikes (actually I have three - a little 80' CT110 which I kick-start), the thing is I can start the CB200 with its starter (and probably kick it over too). The XS1 has got to be made easy enough for me to kick-over. Such a monster. I can see...

    Points are ok. Tried starting it but no good. I have to quit before I hurt my knee. I have a swimming group now and when I return I'll try and diagnose the ignition coil for damage. Meanwhile, I still dont trust my light modification for shorting as well.

    Gentlemen in the process of tuning I left the key on for three hours - the battery is now dead. Would anything be damaged by that?

    If you can stand on your head it says 12V 40/50. Does 5 watts matter? For example the battery is supposed to be 12 volts and its 12.6 or more. Whats a few watts?
