I de-bugged it (ignition and carbs), then rode it for a while, and discovered it...
Got my new seat, and starting to work on fabbing the mounts, etc.
PO had the Omar's seat/tank on the bike, and had wrapped some foam around several sections of the frame, which I assumed was to protect from tank and seat vibration.
Now that I have taken it off the rear "upright" sections...

I picked up a semi-finished tracker project a while ago, and once I finally got the bike to run, and started to ride it, I realized that (although it does look great!) the tracker style is not for me. So, the conversion to a cafe racer begins:wink2:
This means, I have the following items...
Posted this in the General discussion by mistake, so re-posting in Wheels section for more specific response...
Thinking about converting my tracker to a cafe style, and would prefer to run 18" wheels on both ends. It has 19s on both ends right now...
I found an 18" XS 750 rear, and an RD...

I found an 18" XS 750 rear, and an RD 400 18" front, so I'm trying to figure out the mounting issues.
Any past experience or suggestions would be much...

I just picked up a bike that was a work-in-progress, that I will be finishing ASAP. It came with many of Omar's goodies, including a brand new Mile Pipe.
Personal opinion, but not my taste. I would actually prefer the half-mile version, with the low exit. If anyone has one of those they...
