Hello, I’m currently doing an engine rebuild. I picked up a refurbished crank from Geoff’sXS in Sydney, anyway put the crank in and aligned the dowel pins with the holes, cases went together easy. As I’m increasing torque on the cases the crank is not rotating smoothly, there is a ‘stuck spot’...

I have a crank wheel that the threaded end where the alternator lock nut sits is bent. The easy fix would be to get another wheel, but this is a 533 crank which are pretty scarce here in NZ and the crank has been rebuilt, welded and runs very true. It does not need to be 100% as it will be...

My stepson had the heads rebuilt and has not been able to get the old xs to fire since seems like it should be a timing issue to me.Any ideas this is my first go on these xs's

I am currently looking at a few spare parts as i am a bit of a hoarder...(who doesnt want spoked wheels and 35mm forks) he also has a complete, and fairly clean looking non stuck xs1 motor...now i know the engine wont work in my txa, but i do have spare 447 cases and a bunch o trans parts etc...

Hello.. I have tried to search for information on swapping the 533 crank in a 447 engine, but couldn't find the answer. Is it possible just to put an 533 crank in a 447 engine? Is it a direct swap or are there some difficuties involved? Will I also have to change to cam etc? Thank Lasse
