I understand that my 79 xs650 special has exhaust headers with a double wall but my question is do the older xs650's like 75 have a single wall? If they do would it fit on my 79?

A case of "I looked but didn't see". Picked up a fixer 81. The cross over pipe has been removed and the holes left open. Anyone know of a bung that fits? I was fixing to cut circles from sheet metal, but if a pre-made stopper was available it wouldn't hurt my feelings.
