Hey, new to the forum... Just finished my build. 1970 xs-1, stock carbs, no engine mods. I'm running a set of straight drag pipes. Bike will kick over but cuts out almost immediately. Just looking for advice on what to run for jets, air filters, etc. Thanks to everyone on this forum... great advice and some sick bikes!

Yup, I hope they attatched...

how long does it run before it cuts out? if its just popping you need more fuel. plugs wet?

Plugs aren't wet. I know that the jets need to come up a size or two, just wondering if someone had some advice on how much bigger so I can zero in on what i need. I'm wondering if I should switch to pod filters as well to get more air moving through the engine due to the open pipes?

I might suggest a good cleang of your carbs and checking just what the internal parts are. Main and pilot jets, the needle and its jet.
