There is a 1970 XS1 on Ebay right now and the serial number is 18605381656.
The owner said it is completely original. Is it possible with that serial number?

Looks very nice. Has a few aftermarket items.

1970 XS1s had s/n S650-000101 to S650-006686

If the left sidecover is original (early type clutch worm),
Then the s/n range would be S650-000101 to S650-001124

Edit: That number, 1-860-538-1656, shows up for some antique collector in Connecticut.
Probably his number...

Must be his number. But he claims it is the bike's vin number.
