I started this as a project with a friend and my friend unexpectedly passed away. I lost motivation to work on it by myself and I hate seeing all the stuff just sitting there. I'd like to sell it as a whole lot but will consider parting it out if nobody wants the project.

Details: Motor has good compression (checked a couple months ago 118-L 120-R)
Frame has been hardtailed with Elswick's w/ 6" stretch and about 4" ride height.
Have original tank + new Mustang tank
Awesome -made to order- Gordon Scott Engineering 2into1 pipes on left side
Gordon Scott Engineering front fork stabilizer
Shaved front forks
2 sets of carbs + lots of other parts - some brand new, some 'newer'
Both Haynes & Clymer manuals included

I can post more pictures if there is interest. I'm asking $1,200 for everything & am willing to deliver everything within 100 miles. Thanks.

I just found where a crate would be about $340 ... I haven't found an accurate shipping quote from 27858 to 92058 but I'd guess it'd be around another $550 or more.

Not exactly a good deal - huh?

If you do decide to part it i may be interested in a few things and im right down the road in Wilson.

Ok thiggi, if there's no traction by Wed, Sep 12, I'll start partin' it out. Just let me know if there's something specific you're needing, otherwise I'll start posting pix of the stuff...

Thanks,

WildBill

Ok, well there's plenty enough interest in the parts ... so, I'll start posting pix and going down that road. But, if anyone is interested, I do have an XS400 with title that is running & road worthy (it's listed on the xs400.com sister site). I'll contact in order of responses here for parts - Thanks!

A couple shots of the exhaust from Gordon Scott Engineering ... Hardtail is an Elswick
