77 Spoked Wheel Polishing

I am currently polishing up the wheels on my 77, question I have is, are these wheels clear coated?

I ran into the same thing on mine. I believe they are.

Yes they are (well they were clear coated from the factory 35 years ago)... Paint stripper works well, acetone will loosen it, but it's not as fast.
