MGB... Mark scored it for $500.oo.. drove it home, California model. No Rust. Oh the fun and happy joy joy I'v had help'n Mark get'n this thing squared away. Need'd a clutch..so out came the engine and trans.....the factory A/C didn't work so we removed that and the emissions system.... 85 pounds of various bits. New windshield which was a major pain in the kister..new carpets.... and a new top. Toss'd stock carbs, add'd a two barrel with header exhaust, sounds " proper " now. … Right now there's a electrical gremlin.. at 2500 rpm's the alternator light slightly glows... he's go'n to replace the fuse block.
I had a Midget.. fun little car.... but get'n in and out of it was difficult.. the other half wasn't amused.... and I couldn't take it on the freeway.. too many close calls with big rigs.
