This tank is off a ‘78 Special. I stripped the paint years ago and treated it Inside and out with Gibbs Brand penetrant fluid. Has done an amazing job of retaining the raw steel finish. I just pulled this out of storage from over a year and has minimal flash rust. I just cleaned up a little overspray on the cap which is why it has a little shine to it. Inside is pretty clean but also has flash rust but will clean out very easily. Hasn’t had fuel in it for many years. Cap has had tumblers removed so about any key will work. Also includes a non vacuum petcock from Mikes. I bought it new a few years back but has never seen gas. 2nd petcock hole has a crude block off mounted. There are 2 decent size shallow dents that you can see. The are discolored where I tried to heat them and pop out without success. One on top at rear of tank and the other is on left side towards rear. $60 plus shipping cost.
