Hello, actually wondering if anyone in Portland area would be interested in my 79. I have title. Hasn’t ran for a few years but has been under cover. He is a busy man and has a great family hideaway in the forest in Oregon. Thank you!
Now this 79 “Rescue Mod” project is in my truck and headed for some decisions as to just what to make of this. My first Custom XS and it is going to be Green

Well, why wait to get it home before taking it apart ?
Yes, in the past XS projects I’ve tried to put them back as close to stock as was possible for me. This time is going to be different
And I don’t even know. I did inspect items such as the points, Advance unit, and engine feel. This is the 3rd non running project I’ve bought and have been lucky so far at that.
Low Mileage is key ! I think this engine is not only completely stock, but healthy. It’s going to be fun being creative on the body and styling
