Hey guys, this stuff is currently listed for sale on Saint Louis Craigslist, but thought I would run it by you all.
I have a 1981 Yamaha XS650SH basket case - Everything needed to build a running bike, except a fuel tank (original is no good) and exhaust pipes. Frame was freshly powder coated just before I bought it and has sat in my garage for 3 years awaiting attention. I have 3 motors; 2 79's & 1 78. The 79's are disassembled down to the jugs. The 78 is completely disassembled down to the bare cases and ready for rebuild or performance work. The 78 comes with the carbs. There is only one set of carbs for the 79's. Mag aluminum wheels, and many spare stock parts, including fenders, seats, sissy bars/racks, and original steel side covers. Motors are operational, just dirty. The odds and ends are also dirty and worn - it's an old garage find. Some tears in the seat covers, some rust here and there, ect. But the essentials of the bike are there. There are a couple bins full of parts that aren't shown in the pics; I'll get some shot of them up asap.
I intended to build this into a cafe racer, but I am moving and losing my garage in December, so I have to get rid of it.
Of course, I would prefer to sell everything in a buyer-takes-all fashion, but I'm also willing to part out the lot. If anyone is interested in a specific part, of has any questions, don't hesitate to shoot me a PM.
Thanks folks!
Mike
