Ordered some from 650 Central and when I removed swing arm, I found out it had already been done. Will include 2 grease nipples for pivot shaft. $65 shipped
Hi jstraker,
when you install the bushings tap the swingarm crosspiece and put a grease nipple there.
The grease will get to the bushing/bearing sleeve interface a lot easier from there than from the ends of the throughbolt.
And if your bike still has the stock M14-ended throughbolt, swap it out for an M16-ended aftermarket one.
The M14-ended bolts ends tend to snap off and that's a bad thing.
Hey, thanks for the tips/ideas, Fred. These swingarm bikes are pretty high tech and a new thing for me (!), so I need all the help I can get thinking about these rear ends. I'll do as you suggest.
