Dodgy sidestand fix

all my XS have had dodgy sidestands, my current one no exception, and the Z1000 front end exacerbates it even more.
Examination revealed a possible quick fix.
Bike up on the lift
Battery disconnect.
Drag the MIG over.
Find the right size but to tack into place on the sidestands stop lugšŸ‘
Buzz buzz buzz.
DONE!šŸ˜

Looks better hey, and don't have to worry about it blowing over in the wind!
Gotta have a degree of swagger but it was ridiculous before...
No centrestand on this bike neither, they scrape on bends but something always does.
Handy for chain adjustment and rear wheel removal but hey I got a bike lift.

I fixed my sidestand last summer. Over the years the holes in the frame and stand had worn so the bolt was no longer a snug fit. Drilled and added a 12.9 shoulder bolt and all is well now.
