Well I started to go thru the engine. I got the side covers off to clean-up. Drained than Washed out cases with brake clean ( smelled of gas/oil mix ). Filters looked good
turned the crank over and felt it stop. Removed valve covers and I have one sticking exhaust valve ( or a lot clearance ). Turned crank back the other way and it stopped again. Removed the top of the head, than the cam and found it to be clean. Removed the rest of the head and saw this

the wrist pin still float's and the rods are tight on side clearance. My thinking is the exhaust valve was open for a while, as there is only 7200 miles on the bike. Mufflers were rusted out and that valve sticks open but did not take much to close. I'll be doing more to the head saturday to see how deep the problem goes. rawxs
