Ignition timing reminder

I am having a senior moment and need a couple of reminders before I check my ignition timing tomorrow.
When setting the ignition timing of my XS2 should the points start to open on 'F' or 'T'.
When looking at the alternator shaft should you rotate clockwise or anti clockwise.

always turn the crank counterclockwise

after you adj the upper points using the 'a' screws, do you turn the crank to the highest cam postion, or do you not turn the cam?
