Has anyone here ever used a KMC cam chain. These are much less expensive.
Is it a terrible idea to use a c-clip type master link on a cam chain? I am thinking that its a bad idea but someone might chime in and say they have been doing it for years.

Can't speak about the quality but that chain is endless and I don't see a master link offered for it. You would need to split the bottom end and pull the crank out to install it. That enormous amount of extra work isn't worth a $20 saving to me.

KMC has been making chains for a long time. I am sure I could find one but it is probably much easier to find one for the DID chain that B_Crabaugh suggested.
