Ok guys. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Just got my xs. I recently got it running after some pamco issues. I do not have the bike completely ridable yet. I've been tinkering with the carbs. I purchased the bike from a friend. I've been completing the bike a it was an unfinished project. He just put the miles xs pwk performance carbs on. He told me he had already jetted down the carbswith the smaller jets included in the kit. I've been playing with the mix screws to lean out the bike. This thing loads up the plugs quick with the bike idling. Should I get smaller pilot jets or should I wait to physically ride the bike to accurately tune this thing? No matter how much I lean the mix out, the bike still loads the plugs. I've heard good and bad things about these carbs. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
