Raining off and on for days, the Ohio is rising, nightly threats of tornados...bored.
Took a walkabout on the property.....

After a trip down in the holler I walked back up slope to some of my favorite hunting spots and found what I was looking for.....

Went back to the house for a bread sack and gathered a gallon zip lock bag full after they were all cleaned up.

I grew up in Southern IL. I used to go every day. I have a couple of spots that after a rain I could go out and get at least a full bread sack (or more) within a matter of half hour or less. Mainly yellow as well. I miss those little bastards. I would take them down to town on my bicycle or in the farm truck (I was not 16) and sell off as much of them as I could. One summer I made over $400 for a kid that was darn good money. I bought a new bike that summer :-D... Now if I get $400 it Usually doesn't buy a whole "adult" bike these days. Oh what I wouldn't give to be a little kid again!

When I lived in Northern Michigan we used to stuff them with beef, awsome.
Wish they grew here, love to stuff with Crab & Shrimp, Yum.
