paint gurus. compatibility ?

CPaint gurus.....i did a pretty cool paint job on a spare tank i had with krylon acrylic enamal, and i believe the clear is too. I jist planned to put 3m clear bra over it as i had it laying around to protect from the odd gas dribbles...., but bro inlaw has access and sprayer to urethane automotive clear.....will it lay down over an acylic rattlecan clear?

I've shot urethane and polyurethane clears over acrylics with no problems. Always did a wet-or-dry wet sand first.

I've had no problems putting urethane over just about anything, just make sure its prepped and cured properly.

Good to know, not sure if 5 days will be enough cure time..might have to wait a while.

If I remember correctly, Enamels air cure with oxidation, assisted by ultraviolet (sunlight).
