I picked up an early tank that is super clean inside. It has been empty for about 25 years and stored with both petcocks and the cap installed. Should I leave it that way or take other actions to keep it from rusting? Thanks in advance.

Well however it was stored for the last 25 years seems to have done the trick. The only way to make it better would be coat the inside with oil and store it in a dry place. You could use fogging oil and seal it back up.
There is only one proper way to preserve it; Send it to me.
