So I picked up a set of vingatge 1" z-bars for my build and want to keep front end original.. anyone have any idea where I can get risers that will work with the factory set up?

Any generic Harley 1" risers will work, as long as their separate from each other.

I picked up a nice set from a swap for cheap, as simple as risers are... they're not cheap!
Just reuse your stock bushings and washers, find a bolt the correct length and thread it up through the trees into the riser.

the thing that was throwing me off was the the bolt thing... thanks a bunch. damn, now the money I saved on the bars will be put into the risers....

Also you have to make sure that the knurled portion of the handlebar will line up with the distance between the risers. Some bars are knurled for 3/1/2 " spacing and some are for 4" spacing. I guess either way will work but the risers wont be grabbing as much of the knurled part of the bar, and it looks crappy too.
