Setting points

Yes I see that there's plenty of thread on how to do this so do all of us a favor and don't remind me. I'm here for help.
I have a 77 and I need help setting the points. Whats the easiest way of doing this. The points are brand new and I know I didn't set them right to begin with. So what's a good starting point on getting set correctly. Thanks for the help!!

hi ,,,,you set the right FIRST,,,, then you fiddle with the left ,,,, there is a great write up on our site ,,,well worth reading ,,, sorry i had tooooooooo add this if you get sick of points ,,, buy a pamco 14-0901 its a complete set up real easy to fit and run no dramas with it and modern technology ,,, no one will no you even have it but you will not brake down ,,,, regards oldbiker
