Did you attach a filter to the outlet?I actually carefully trimmed the "baffle" of the 79 so that it would fit into the 80's low cast item. It fits well. And I think it is a good idea
Not a filter. I just ran a hose out to an automotive brake booster check valve and then down.
Sorry about the tap size. My old brain forgets sometimes.Just as an update... I removed the “Y” fitting from the base. Went and bought a 3/8” npt tap and 90 degree fitting. Turns out the hole is much larger than the tap. I believe it’s 1/2” npt. Will report more later. Thx
