Wanted - Solid state regulator

I've got a 79 xs 650 and I'm looking for a solid state regulator / recifrecator I'd prefer to buy a good used one one here rather than she'll outshell out the big bucks for a new one if I can keep from it but if any one has one for sell or trade plz let me no

How many pins is your rectifier connector? I have a 6 pin type regulator and rectifier I am selling in my parts thread for $25 plus shipping.

I've got a stock 79 xs 650 with mechanical reg n it's trashed n my bike won't charge do I have to change anything else if I go to a non mechanical

Not really sure what you would have to change. Just shoot me a pm if you would like the regulator rectifier.

Those mechanical regs are simple devices easily cleaned and adjusted. Dirt cheap on flea bay. Also. Have you done the trouble shooting?

That's my next step also I'm looking for a motor for my 79 650 good used one that runs so I can swap mine out n build and stroke my #s matching one
