Around 55+ MPH the speedo needle is wagging a bit at me around 55+ MPH. I already took the cable apart and wipped down and oiled the whole thing. What could it be?
I have found that if I ride my bike everyday the speedo won't bounce around much. If I let it set a few days the speedo bounces for the first few miles then evens out. I think the lube in the speedo head itself gets dry and stiff. If you ride alot the lube softens.
Same problem here except I have a new mini speedo from Dennis Kirk and a new cable. Everything was fine until around 400 miles on it then it started doing that also at any speed over 40 mph. Not sure where the problem is.
