I have a pamco igniton with vm36 roundslide carbs. I have 150 mains with 25 pilots and needle jet 159 p8.

Bike is sputtering at bottom and low to mid and hard to move.

Replaced the 150 mains with 190.....still having a problem with bike just off idle. No power fro just of idol to mid then it hits. Any ideas?

The P8 needle jet may be too rich. I think most run a P5 or P6. What needle are you using? Most use a 6F9.

Yep. NJ's as fat as the generic Q2 are used in racing, but P5 or P6 with a 6F9 needle (usually in #3 position) is a better choice for the street. You didn't mention needle position; did you drop the needle to #2 to control the fuel through the fat NJ's? If so, upstream effects would be pretty strong, leaning out the mixture at small throttle openings; your 25 PJ should be large enough. You might also check slide cutaways; 2.5's work well, but if the cutaway is 3.0 or leaner you'll have issues.
