XS650 Clutch Pushrod experiment & tidbits

Last one I done was in 2018, so no pictures were taken, I may at some stage buy an old pressure plate and do an illustrated true up.

In lieu of no explanation, I would assume the bottom of the cups that hold the springs were trued up using a dial gauge, then the face skimmed. Although, you could do it reverse, true the face and skim the underneath of the spring cups.

Assume nothing, as assumption is the mother of all f**k ups, when I get a pressure plate I will do a more detailed write up, this post was written in Loo.
