It's all a plot to confuse Canadians and take their money. That's why we made Florida.

Fork looks great Jim! Polishing and buffing is something I enjoy but yes the mess sucks.......used to have a machine with a 4" wide wheel on it that would take the part out of your hand if you weren't careful.....used it mostly for polishing brass and stainless as I am a welder/fab guy for most of my life. Did a lot of fancy railings back in the day.
Oh and the MEK we called it Methyl Ethyl Killyah.............not the nicest of stuff.

Is a bit confusing huh? To make a long story short, Kansas City started at the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri rivers... on both banks. The Missouri side flourished while the Kansas side.... not so much. There is still a Kansas City Kansas as well as a Kansas City Missouri. The overwhelmingly larger city is the Missouri one.

Yes it is........I hate to admit it but I think building the bike or anything really is more therapeutic to me than using it.......may sound weird but I find once its finished I don't enjoy it as much. Or maybe am just worried I am going to mess up all the hard work

I was an MFT&E (Maine Fire Training and Education) instructor for several years. We did a HAZMAT module annually and the generic term for all things hazardous was "Methyl Ethyl Death".
Aint that the truth! I was on a hazmat team here for the post office and had to go to school to learn about hazardous chemicals, anything that starts with Methyl Ethyl is usually nasty stuff!

I probably worked on the same kind of tape drives you did, in the accounting department at "the phone company", thinking 'this cleaning stuff can't be good for my health...'

Here in the republik of New York State, up in the north country, near the southern shore of Lake Ontario (didn't I say 'New York'?), there's a town called 'Mexico, NY'. What's north of Mexico? Texas, NY, of course! But then, west of them is New Haven, NY. Go figure. Yes, we do it on purpose to confuse you, eh?

You forgot to mention that near all those towns we also have a Phoenix here in NY so MaxPete is sure to be confused, "Dang I didn't think I was already in Arizona, but there is the sign for Phoenix so I must be there!"
