Edison came up with the idea to show how dangerous Tesla's AC current was. He put on pretty grizzly displays of electrocuting animals to promote his DC system.

I stumbled on a good video about the "current war". Some of the stuff I hadn't seen, like the paper that convinced J.P. Morgan supposedly

Decided to follow @DogBunny 's lead and add a dp switch to kill power and to isolate the TCI signal... just in case. Soon as the LED's (and warm weather) show up, I'll hook it all up and see what happens. Once it's all sorted, I'll trim the board down and build a little weatherproof case for it. Not sure where I'll mount it yet. Prolly on the battery box?
